Student Lighthouse

 

We offer Student Lighthouse as part of our Leader in Me initiative. Students are given the opportunity to apply and be in a leadership team with fellow peers. Cigarroa Student Lighthouse Team members are to understand and practice the 7 Habits of Happy Kids. Members will work closely with teachers and staff and be positive role models for Cigarroa students, staff, families, and the community. Members will help plan leadership events and leadership opportunities throughout the school year.

Responsibilities of Cigarroa’s Student Lighthouse Team members include:
- Attend school every day on time and ready to learn
- Excel in academics, complete classwork and homework assignments
- Show model behavior by having exemplary conduct and citizenship in and out of school
- Be leaders of the school--demonstrate and teach the 7 Habits
- Have a strong work ethic and follow-through with my responsibilities
- Have a positive attitude
- Be comfortable with public speaking

Ofrecemos Student Lighthouse como parte de nuestra iniciativa Líder en Mí. Los estudiantes tienen la oportunidad de postularse y formar parte de un equipo de liderazgo con sus compañeros. Los miembros del equipo de Cigarroa Student Lighthouse deben comprender y practicar los 7 hábitos de los niños felices. Los miembros trabajarán estrechamente con los maestros y el personal y serán modelos positivos para los estudiantes, el personal, las familias y la comunidad de Cigarroa. Los miembros ayudarán a planificar eventos de liderazgo y oportunidades de liderazgo durante todo el año escolar.

Las responsabilidades de los miembros del equipo Student Lighthouse de Cigarroa incluyen:
- Asistir a la escuela todos los días a tiempo y listo para aprender.
- Sobresalir en lo académico, completar trabajos de clase y tareas.
- Mostrar un comportamiento modelo teniendo conducta y civismo ejemplar dentro y fuera de la escuela.
- Ser líderes de la escuela: demostrar y enseñar los 7 hábitos.
- Tener una sólida ética de trabajo y cumplir con mis responsabilidades.
- Tener una actitud positiva
- Sentirse cómodo hablando en público.
